Stern + Associates is passionate about sustainability and supports environmental causes, including Clean Ocean Action (@cleanocean), a leading national and regional voice working to protect waterways using science, law, research, education, and citizen action. On our team’s beach cleanup event took us to the Sandy Hook National Recreation Area in central New Jersey. Before we set off on the sweep, Clean Ocean Action’s coordinator for pollution prevention Tavia Danch educated us on the connection between storm drains and waterways, and what each of us can do to prevent ocean pollution.
