Partnering with Clean Ocean Action, a leading national coalition dedicated to improving coastal water quality, Stern + Associates volunteers played a part in “the solution to ocean pollution” by participating in a beach sweep on September 30, 2009, removing hundreds of pieces of debris from a local New Jersey beach. The program is one of the longest running cleanup programs in the nation, and has resulted in the removal of nearly 4 million pieces of trash since its inception in 1985.
